Saint Kyprianos was born in Antioch, in the late of the 3rd century A.D. He was a magician, serving the Satan for years, doing bad to other people, by using the evil power. He became Christian after he realized that he was deceived by Satan for all those years he was serving him. Really regretful, with pain in his heart and tears in his eyes for the evil he had done to others, he was praying everyday to God to forgive his sins.
God, the Philanthropist God, The God of the Forgiveness, listened to his prayers, saw that he really had regret and forgived him for his great sins. He let him become Bishop of a town close to Antioch city and later on Saint Kyprianos became a martyr. He sacrificed his life by not denying he was a Christian.
Around 304 A.D. in Nikomedeia where the king was Diocletean, Saint Kyprianos and Saint Justina were beheaded for their faith in Jesus Christ because they did not alter their faith to become idololatres. Thereafter the Orthodox Christian Church has proclaimed both Kyprianos and Justina Saints.
